Jon Brun- Lead Vocals
Born in 1980 in Petosky, MI. Spent a few years in
California and then came to Alpena to raise a family.
My vocal talents I used to share only with
my family, but then decided to enter a couple local singing contests, the first was in the Alpena Mall and it was a Karaoke
contest. Then in the Spring of 2007 I entered "Iosco Idol". I faired pretty good. I came in 3rd place
out of many talented performers.
"Iosco Idol" is also how I became a member of the band
"Grounded". They were the featured band at the Au Sable Inn, where the Idol was being held. They were looking for
a singer and I was looking for a band of musicians who had my same ideas and drive.
Jordan
Morris- Vocals/Keyboard
Born In 1993 in Toledo Ohio, I moved to my Grandparent's campground
at age 3, where I would travel from trailer to trailer, asking if I could sing songs for the campers. I enjoy every style
of music from Rock to Opera, and some of my musical accomplishments include winning the Iosco County Fair Talent Contest 5
years in a row, the Ogemaw County Fair Talent Show 4 years in a row, Miss Michigan's Most Outstanding Teen talent Award
2008, The Alcona Mock Rock Talent Contest 2 years ago, and performances at many festivals and shows including the Michigan
State Fair, M-33 Access Customer Appreciation Day 3 years ago, and Depot Days in Standish. I am also an aspiring keyboard
player.
Tom Erlenbaugh- Bass Guitar/ Backing Vocals
Born
and raised in Indianapolis, IN. I learned the inner workings of a band by being a roadie for a neighborhood band.
I served in the United States Air Force for 4 years and taught myself how to play the Bass guitar in 1983. After
leaving the service, I played in a few different bands, from Oldies to Rock, Classic to Blues to Country.
I was biding my time, waiting for the right combination of musicians, which I found with Jim Rowden on Drums and
Rich Warner on Lead Guitar in 2001, "Grounded".
I am a spiritual person and truly believe
that it was fate that complied this band.
Rich Warner-Lead Guitar/ Backing Vocals
Born in 1970 in Tawas, lived in Northeast Mi all my life. I have been an active Guitar player since 1986. I enjoy
all types of music. I've performed at many functions over the years including Graduations, for Holiday's, Wedding
Receptions, Festivals, and many others.
Jim Rowden-Drums/ Backing Vocals
Born in 1967 in Bay City, MI. Moved to Glennie, Mi when I was young. My Grandfather owned the Oasis Bar in Glennie
then, and I grew up in the entertainment atmosphere.
I started playing Drums in Junior High School
and was playing Drums in a band by 1988. I have played many venues in the State of Michigan and played many types of music
from Country to Heavy Metal.
I have played for and ran sound for many Festivals, Weddings, Parties.
Scheduling/booking and advertising are my responsibilities also.
Grounded
We are a 5 piece band of musicians who have come together for the love of music and to entertain an
audience. Whether it is for our kids in our studio or to hundreds of fans, size doesn't matter.
We
are a very diverse band, we have been known to "play it all" (well most of it). Audience participation is what we
feed off of. If you want to rock, we rock, if you want to slow it down, we sway along with you.
We
are big believers in giving back to the community, if organizations need musical entertainment for community fundraisers we
are more than willing to accommodate.
As a Band, everyone brings something to the table so we
grow together. We work very well together and we are all working for the same goal, play well and people will listen.
